Marie Wilson as Meg Snyder
Biography
Marie Wilson joined the cast of AS THE WORLD TURNS in the role of Meg Snyder, Holden’s sister, on June 16, 2005.
Wilson is well known to daytime audiences for her role as Dr. Carolyn Cates on Port Charles. At As the World Turns, Wilson reunites with Kin Shriner, who played her father on Port Charles. Wilson’s other television acting credits include appearances on Boston Legal, And the Beat Goes On: The Sonny and Cher Story, Destiny, and Baywatch. Wilson also appeared in numerous theater productions and films, including a role in the film Guarding Eddy.
Born in Greece and raised in Toronto, Wilson danced ballet, tap, and jazz for ten years. Upon graduating high school, she started modeling at the age of 17. Wilson met her husband Michael during a casting call and they married on December 31, 1996. They have one daughter, Skye Alexandra (b. 2/12/01).
A committed animal and environment supporter, Wilson resides with her family, her shepherd collie mix, Sierra, and her cat, Tyler, in Calabasas, California. Her birthday is October 12.
